Recognizing that he has a true passion for training and mentoring business professionals Jim Cornelius left a successful corporate career to become the President/Owner of Professional Sales Training Associates Inc. His diverse background includes over 40 years of training, sales and sales management experience.
Over the last 15 years with Sandler, he has used his unique skills as an experienced speaker, trainer, coach and mentor to better business professionals throughout the state of Wisconsin Jim has presented sales workshops for companies and organizations throughout Wisconsin, received many awards at Sandler and is a Sandler Certified Trainer.
Eric Thompson joined Professional Sales Training Associates Inc in 2011 with over 20 years of business ownership, selling and training experience, that he brings with his background to our Sandler Clients.
After graduating from University of Wisconsin- River Falls School of Business, his experiences included working with companies such as DirecTv-ATT, EchoStar/ DishNet, Viasat Inc, WildBlue, HughesNet, Perfect-10, DSI, SiriusXM Satellite Radio, SmartHome and SBCA.
His small business experience stems from developing territories and running businesses in the telecommunications, Commercial Landscaping, Hardscape, Snow Removal Services and iservicing the training industries. He is active in the community and served many roles including President of the Board of Directors at Peaceful Beginnings Christian Child Care Center.
While with Sandler, he has received the Rising Star Award, Silver Award and Gold Award. Eric is a certified Sandler Trainer and approved to train Organizational Excellence. He brings unique perspectives from Corporate America and Small Business as an Entrepreneur running multiple small businesses.
Debra is an intricate part of our local Sandler Training business. The “Behind the scenes Gal.” Deb brings a diversified background to the office. Debra holds a background in retail sales and child education. She keeps the behinds the scenes work under control!
Debra brings strong organizational skills, a fresh perspective, creativity, and enthusiasm to her role at Sandler Training and for that we are grateful!

"Prior to beginning the Sandler Training with Jim Cornelius , our sales staff was like most others. We offered demonstrations, presentations and price quotations at the drop of a hat. We would wait in anticipation for the orders to come in and in a lot of cases they never did. Sometimes we weren’t even hearing back from the prospect. Sure we would get a sale from time to time.
