2014 has come and gone! Wow it flew by! Have you considered that tomorrow starts a new chapter? When the ball drops at midnight it is a new day, a new year, a new chapter in your life. Don’t let the mistakes, hiccups or bumps in the road direct how your future will be.

It is time to consider what your goals will be for 2015. Not your company goals but what do you personally want to accomplish in the New Year. It is time to ponder the past and look forward to the future. What will be your motivators as you step forward with your journey?

A couple of thoughts as you start your goal setting:

1-      What are you grateful for from the past?

2-      What do you want to change?

3-      Brainstorm what things you would like your dreams- nothing is too big to dream about if it is what you dream, as they are YOUR dreams.

4-      Set Goals- Short Term Goals and Long Term Goals

5-      Write them down- did you know that most people never write them down so then they don’t have to commit to them.

6-      Share them with someone!

Your goals should be a source of motivation. They should help you to focus and give you a sense of meaning. Why am I doing this job, this task, this sale, this etc? Is it getting me nearer to my goals or do I need to change my path? A well thought out plan can give you a sense of control, feeling of accomplishment, and helps you tolerate unpleasant tasks as you know what goals you are accomplishing!

Growth is painful as you step out of your comfort zone. But it is amazing what we can accomplish as we figure out what motivates us! Strive toward what you dreams, Your Goals will get you there!

Need some help on setting your goals or on attaining your goals, let’s have a brief conversation!
